Use this button to search and erase specified files on your system.

Erase Files and Folders
D-Secure File Eraser is a powerful software designed to securely erase files/folders from your hard drive. You can select and delete multiple files/folders simultaneously using a range of algorithms to achieve maximum security.
Note: The erased files or folders are permanently deleted from your drive, making them unrecoverable.
Step 1: Launch DSecure
Select Erase Files & Folders from Select Option displayed on the left pane of the screen.
Methods available:
- Drag and Drop items directly
- Using Add Items button
- Search & Erase for specific files

Step 2: Add Files for Erasure
There are three methods to select files/folders and add them to erasure list:
By Drag and Drop
Drag the folder from your system and drop them in the box.
Using Add Items
Click Add Items button from the toolbar and select files/folders.
By Search & Erase
Click Search & Erase option to search and add files.
Drop Zone
Drag & Drop Items to Erase
Files and folders will appear here
Step 3: Start Erasure Process
After adding files/folders to the erasure list, click Erase Now to start the erasure process.
What happens next:
- Confirmation message appears
- Click "Proceed" to continue
- Progress bar shows erasure status
- Completion summary is displayed
Confirm Erasure
This action will erase the selected data permanently. Deleted data cannot be recovered. Are you sure?

Activating the Software
The demo version is for evaluation purpose only. You need to activate the software to use its full functionality. Use the Activation key included with after purchasing the software to activate it.
Note: Make sure that you have an active internet connection.
Steps to activate the software:

Run DSecure File Eraser

Click on the Activation icon displayed on the screen. An Activation window appears.

Enter the Activation Key and click Activate button.

A message "D-Secure File Eraser Activated Successfully" is displayed after the process is completed successfully.
After successful activation:
- Click OK to proceed to main interface
- All features are now unlocked
- Full functionality is available

Activation Troubleshooting
If you receive an error while activating the software, follow and verify the steps given below to fix the issue:
1. Check installer and re-enter activation key
Make sure you have downloaded the correct installer. Use the download link given in the email or visit the desired product page to first download the software and then activate it using the code provided on your email.
2. Uninstall All versions of the software
Uninstall any version of the software you may have installed earlier. Then re-install the desired version of the software and activate it.
3. Re-enter the correct activation key without blank spaces
If copy and pasting the activation code does not work, try to enter it manually. Sometimes, while copying, you may copy the blank spaces, which can cause software activation failure. Entering code manually overcomes this issue. Alternatively, you may copy the code from email to notepad and then remove empty space from the beginning and end of the code. Then copy and paste the code in the activation window of the software.
