Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 28, 2026Last Updated: October 28, 2026

1. Summary

D-Secure sells digital software licences and pay-per-use erasure credits. A licence or credit is delivered to your account or e-mail as soon as payment is confirmed, and you can use it straight away. For this reason, all purchases are final and non-refundable once the licence or credits have been delivered, except in the cases listed in section 3.

Before you buy, you can contact our team at support@dsecuretech.com to confirm that a product fits your devices and requirements.

2. What is not refundable

  • Licences or credits that have been delivered, whether or not they have been used.
  • Credits that have been consumed by an erasure, verification or detection job.
  • Unused licence periods, early cancellation, or a change of mind after purchase.
  • Purchases where the product does not meet requirements that were not checked before buying.
  • Custom quotes, bulk packs and enterprise agreements, which follow the terms of the signed order.

3. When we will issue a refund

We refund the full amount of the affected order only in these cases:

  • Duplicate charge: you were charged more than once for the same order.
  • Not delivered: the licence or credits were never delivered to you, and we could not deliver them within 7 business days of your request.

If a technical problem stops the software from working, contact support first. We will work with you to resolve it.

4. How to request a refund

  1. E-mail support@dsecuretech.com within 30 days of the payment, with the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include your order ID or invoice number and the e-mail address used for the purchase.
  3. We reply with a decision within 3 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider. Banks usually show the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
  5. The licence or credits of a refunded order are removed from your account.

5. Payment disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before you raise a dispute with your bank. Most billing questions can be settled quickly by e-mail.

6. Your statutory rights

At checkout you ask for immediate access to the licence and confirm that you lose any right to cancel once it has been delivered. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded by contract.
